Mark Womack has been the sports information director at Cedarville University since 1983. He coordinates all information and statistics generated by the 14 Yellow Jacket varsity teams, is editor of the STING, the sports information quarterly from the university, and maintains the school's sports information web site which has twice been voted No. 1 in the NAIA.

Since 1982, Womack has written and produced Yellow Jacket Sports Update for the CDR Radio Network. He is also the radio play-by-play voice for all Cedarville men's basketball games.

A 1983 Cedarville College graduate, Womack was a four-year member of the Yellow Jacket basketball and golf teams, and he was inducted into the Cedarville University Athletic Hall of Fame in January, 2001. He received the Distinguished Service Award from the school's Alumni Association in 1993 and he was selected the 2004-05 Cedarville University Staff Member of the Year.

Womack is a member of the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) and serves as the Administrative Assistant/Information Director for the American Mideast Conference. He was the 2000 recipient of the Clarence "Ike" Pearson Award which is the NAIA-SIDA's highest honor recognizing outstanding achievement in the sports information field. He is also a member of the NAIA Hall of Fame Committee.

Mark and his wife, Amy, who is also a graduate of the University, reside in Cedarville. They have three daughters: Amber Begley, who is a 2007 graduate of the University, resides in Fairborn, Ohio with her husband, Broc; Aubrey, who is a sophomore at CU; and Alison, a junior at Cedarville High School.
