Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

The final Cedarville Female Athlete of the Week for the 2020-21 athletic season is women's basketball player Ashlyn Huffman. The senior guard from Columbus, Indiana was named the 2021 Yellow Jacket Club Female Athlete of the Year. The four-year starter led the Lady Jackets to a 19-6 record and the G-MAC regular season title with an 18-4 mark. Huffman topped the squad in scoring (15.8), rebounding (5.6) and assists (5.3) and was named the NCCAA Kathy Freese-Peabody Award recipient as well as an NCCAA All-America First Team honoree. She is a Dean's Honor List student as a cellular and molecular biology major and is a two-time NCCAA Scholar-Athlete and a three-time G-MAC Academic Team member.
