Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

The Rapid Fired Pizza Female Athlete of the Week (February 13-19) is track & field distance runner Rachel Sweeney-Bredeson. The graduate student from Xenia, Ohio broke the school record in the 3,000 meters to pace a string of notable performances for the Lady Jackets at the Wittenberg Invitational in Springfield, Ohio. She was clocked in 9:50.25 to clip the previous record by 0.03 and meet the NCAA Division II provisional qualifying mark in the process at the non-scoring meet held on Saturday, Feb. 19 in the Steemer Fieldhouse.
