The Rapid Fired Pizza Female Athlete of the Week (March 6-12) is track & field performer Haleigh Eckert. The sophomore pole vaulter from Mason, Ohio, finished 16th in the pole vault at the NCAA Division II Women's Indoor Track & Field Championship on Friday, March 11. Eckert, making her first appearance in the NCAA Championships, cleared 12-1.50 in her first attempt but missed all three attempts at 12-7.50. She was the only Yellow Jacket, male or female, to qualify for the national indoor meet held on the campus of Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, Kansas.
