The Cedarville Male Athlete of the Week (May 1-7) is track & field hurdler/sprinter Trey Gruet. The junior from Cedarville, Ohio placed second in the 400 meter hurdles with a performance of 53.34 seconds at the 2022 Great Midwest Athletic Conference Championship held May 4-6 in Owensboro, Kentucky. Gruet was also a member of the 4 x 400 meter relay squad that finished third with a time of 3:17.69 and is seventh-fastest all-time at Cedarville.
