Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

The female SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (Jan. 17-23) is track & field performer Alexa Winik. The 5-6 sophomore sprinter from Windsor, Ontario, helped lead Cedarville to victory at the Marietta Open on Saturday, Jan. 23 in Marietta, Ohio. Winik captured the 400 meters in 58.01 seconds which met the NAIA automatic qualifying standard. She also combined with Lydia Wong, Carolyn Case and Joy Santos to win the 4 x 400 meter relay in a time of 4:10.74.
