Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

The Germain Ford of Beavercreek Female Athlete of the Week (Aug. 21-27) is women's soccer goalkeeper Brooke Ackley. The junior from Worthington, Ohio led a stalwart Lady Jacket defense to a season-opening 2-0 win and then a 1-1 draw. Ackley made 10 saves in the shutout verdict over Carson-Newman University on Thursday, Aug. 25 in Cleveland, Tennessee. Cedarville battled #7 Lee University to a tie on the Flames home turf as Ackley registered six saves on Saturday, Aug. 27.
