The Germain Ford of Beavercreek Male Athlete of the Week (Aug. 21-27) is men's soccer player Victor Pomelli. The senior midfielder from Sao Paulo, Brazil tallied assists on both Yellow Jacket goals in the 2-0 win over Wheeling University on Saturday, August 27. Pomelli sent in two perfectly placed crosses that resulted in headers by Michael Payne and Mauricio Ochoa Vazquez.The 2022 home opener was played in front of a crowd of 1,278 on "Pack The Track Night".
