The Germain Ford of Beavercreek Male Athlete of the Week (Aug. 28-Sept. 3) is cross country runner Evan Leist. The senior from Beaver, Ohio posted a time of 15:15.9 (5K) at the Wright State Classic in Fairborn, Ohio on Friday, Sept. 2. Leist placed 7th of 174 runners as the Yellow Jackets were third of 14 schools with only Ohio State and Dayton ahead of CU.
