The Germain Ford of Beavercreek Male Athlete of the Week (Oct. 2-8) is golfer Sam Evans. The freshman from Worthington, Ohio tied for sixth with a 67-77-73-217 (+1) effort at the Tiffin University Memorial on Mon.-Tues,, Oct. 3-4. His five-under par opening round tied the school record and his 54-hole total ties for No. 4 in school history. Cedarville finished fifth out of ten schools in the event held at the Mohawk Golf & Country Club in Tiffin, Ohio.
