Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

The Germain Ford of Beavercreek Female Athlete of the Week (Oct. 30-Nov. 5) is cross country runner Savannah Ackley. The sophomore from Hart, Michigan was the individual champion at the G-MAC Women's Cross Country Championship at the Hillcrest Golf Club on Saturday, Nov. 5 in Findlay, Ohio. Ackley paced Cedarville to its second consecutive title covering the 6,000 meter course in 21:22.8 to win by more than five seconds. She was recognized as the G-MAC Runner of the Year.
