The Germain Ford of Beavercreek Male Athlete of the Week (Nov. 6-12) is basketball player Grant Whisman. The 6-foot-7 junior forward from Middletown, Ohio helped lead the Yellow Jackets to a pair of home victories in the Midwest Region Crossover. Whisman matched his career-high of 26 points in a 79-51 win against the Truman State Bulldogs on Friday, Nov. 11. He followed up with an 18 point, six rebound peformance as CU defeated the Quincy Hawks 86-85 in overtime on Saturday, Nov. 12.
