The Germain Ford of Beavercreek Male Athlete of the Week (Nov. 20-26) is basketball player Jayvon Maughmer. The 6-foot-6 junior forward from Chillicothe, Ohio fired in a team-high 22 points in a 98-73 non-conference win over visiting Wilberforce on Monday, Nov. 21. He added eight rebounds, three assists and a steal in the victory against the Bulldogs. Maughmer hit for 21 points with four boards, five assists and five steals as the Yellow Jackets defeated non-league opponent Purdue Northwest 77-65 in Hammond, Indiana on Saturday, Nov. 26.
