The Germain Ford of Beavercreek Male Athlete of the Week (Dec. 20-31) for the second consecutive time is basketball player Grant Whisman. The 6-foot-7 junior forward from Middletown, Ohio fired in 28 points to lead the Yellow Jackets to an 89-73 Great Midwest Athletic Conference win over visiting Tiffin on Saturday, Dec. 31. Whisman connected on 11-of-19 from the field while adding three rebounds, four assists and a steal as Cedarville improved to 10-3 overall and 3-2 in the league. He was also named the G-MAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week (Dec. 19, 2022-Jan. 1, 2023) for his efforts.
