The Germain Ford of Beavercreek Male Athlete of the Week (Jan. 15-21) is track & field distance performer Evan Leist. The senior from Beaver, Ohio won the 5,000 meter run in meet record time at the non-scoring Youngstown State Indoor Invitational on Friday, Jan. 20 in Youngstown, Ohio. Leist placed ahead of 33 other participants and  was timed in 14:38.03 which is the sixth-fastest in program history.
