Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

The female SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (Feb. 14-20) is track & field performer Alexa Winik. The sophomore sprinter from Windsor, Ontario, won two events in meet record time and was voted the Outstanding Performer of the Meet for the second straight year at the NCCAA Indoor Championship held in the Doden Field House at Cedarville University on Saturday, Feb. 20. Winik set new school and meet records in the 55 meter dash with a winning time of 7.19 seconds. She also claimed the 200 meter dash title in 25.41 seconds to break another meet record and was part of the third-place 4 x 400 meter relay team. CU finished fourth of 14 teams.
