The Germain Ford of Beavercreek Female Athlete of the Week (Jan. 29-Feb. 4) is track & field distance runner Savannah Ackley. The sophomore from Hart, Michigan headlined numerous Lady Jacket winners at the Cedarville Collegiate Invite on Friday, Feb. 3. Ackley placed first of 25 runners in the 3K with a school record time of 9:45.42 which also met the NCAA Division II provisional qualifying mark. Cedarville registered 242 points to dominate the 12-team event held in CU's Doden Field House.
