The Germain Ford of Beavercreek Male Athlete of the Week (Feb. 26-Mar. 4) is track & field distance performer Evan Leist. The senior from Beaver, Ohio was one of 16 runners to qualify in the 5K for the upcoming NCAA Division II Indoor Championships. Leist crushed the school record with a mark of 14:05.38 at Grand Valley State this season. He holds the two fastest times in school history and three of the top four.
