Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

The Germain Ford of Beavercreek Female Athlete of the Week (April 2-8) is track & field distance specialist Savannah Ackley. The sophomore from Hart, Michigan set a school record in the 10K with a winning time of 34:57.13 at the Lee Flames Invitational on Friday, April 7 in Cleveland, Tennessee. Her performance clipped the previous record by 0.94 seconds and met the NCAA Division II provisional qualifying standard. Cedarville placed fourth in the 28-team field.
