The Germain Ford of Beavercreek Female Athlete of the Week (April 9-15) is track & field pole vaulter Haleigh Eckert. The junior from Mason, Ohio broke the school record in the pole vault at the Tiffin Track Carnival on Friday, April 14 in Tiffin, Ohio. Eckert cleared 12-11.50 (3.95 meters) to add an inch and a half to her previous CU record. The performance also met the NCAA Division II provisional qualifying standard.
