Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

The Germain Ford of Beavercreek Female Athlete of the Week (April 16-22) is softball player Adaline Ziehmer. The junior pitcher/first baseman fired a five-inning no hitter and blasted a two-run homer to lead the Lady Jackets to a 11-0 G-MAC win at Kentucky Wesleyan on Saturday, April 22 in Owensboro, Kentucky. Ziehmer improved her record to 7-6 while striking out four. It was the 11th no hitter in program history and she is the eighth CU pitcher to accomplish the feat.
