The Germain Ford of Beavercreek Female Athlete of the Week (April 23-29) is softball player Mackenzie Russell. The sophomore pitcher/outfielder produced a batting average of .667 (6-for-9) as the Lady Jackets went 3-1 in G-MAC action. Russell totaled six hits including three doubles, and a triple while scoring a team-high four runs. Her 11 total bases produced a team-best 1.222 slugging percentage. Cedarville (22-24, 16-8 G-MAC) secured a #4-seed in the upcoming Great Midwest Softball Championship Tournament.
