The Germain Ford of Beavercreek Female Athlete of the Week (Apr. 30-May 6) is track & field distance runner Savannah Ackley. The sophomore from Hart, Michigan ran to the 5,000 meter title at the G-MAC Women's Outdoor Track & Field Championship on Friday, May 5 in Ashland, Ohio. Ackley registered a winning time of 17:06.77 - No. 6 on the school's all-time list and a NCAA Division II provisional qualifier. The Lady Jackets placed 6th of 13 schools at the event held May 3-5 and hosted by Ashland University.
