Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

The Germain Ford of Beavercreek Male Athlete of the Week (April 30-May 6) is track & field distance specialist Evan Leist. The senior from Beaver, Ohio cut more than 22 seconds off of the school record in the 10,000 meter run on Wednesday, May 3 at the G-MAC Men's Outdoor Track & Field Championship in Ashland, Ohio. Leist placed third in the event with a time of 29:21.50 which also met the NCAA Division II provisional qualifying mark. The Yellow Jackets finished seventh of 12 shools at the event held May 3-5 and hosted by Ashland University.
