Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

The Germain Ford of Beavercreek Male Athlete of the Week (May 14-20) is soccer player Trey McBride. The senior defender from Grand Rapids, Michigan was selected as the male recipient of the 2022-23 Don and Nedra Callan Sports Ministry Award at the Sixth Annual Golden Jacket Awards on Wednesday, April 26. McBride was honored for his evangelism in and through sports activities while at Cedarville University. He has played for the Chicago Eagles - a division of Missionary Athletes International - and will return to the club this summer. McBride has also participated om the Li'l Dribblers ministry in the village of Cedarville and traveled on a Yellow Jacket team mission trip to Portugal.
