Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

The Germain Ford of Beavercreek Female Athlete of the Week (Sept. 3-9) is volleyball player Madelyn Hensley. The 6-foot-3 freshman middle hitter from Dover, Delaware helped lead CU to two victories at the Findlay Classic on Friday, Sept. 8 in Findlay, Ohio. Hensley pounded a career-high 24 kills in a three-set win over Saginaw Valley State and then followed up with 22 kills in a five-set win against Bloomsburg. She contributed 10 kills in a setback to Wayne State (MI) in the final match of the Findlay Classic on Saturday, Sept. 9. Hensley was the lone Lady Jacket to be selected to the All-Tournament Team.
