The Germain Ford of Beavercreek Male Athlete of the Week (Sept. 3-9) is soccer performer Michael Catanzarite. The junior forward, a transfer from Liberty University, contributed to a pair of non-conference home victories for the Yellow Jackets. Catanzarite netted his first goal as a Yellow Jackets just 24 seconds after intermission in a 9-0 win over Boyce College on Thursday, Sept. 7. He assisted on a goal by Alex Long in the 52nd minute as CU defeated the California University of Pennsylvania Vulcans 2-0 on Saturday, Sept. 9.
