The Germain Ford of Beavercreek Female Athlete of the Week (Sept. 17-23) is soccer player Maya Ryder. The senior forward from Xenia, Ohio smashed a 20-yard strike inside the right post in the 10th minute which held up for a 1-0 result over G-MAC foe Ohio Dominican on Saturday, Sept. 23 at Yellow Jacket Field. Teammates Emily Walton and Megan McClish were credited with assists on Ryder's second goal of the season.
