The Germain Ford of Beavercreek Male Athlete of the Week (October 1-7) is soccer player Michael Cantanzarite. The junior forward from Syracuse, New York helped lead the Yellow Jackets to a 1-0-1 week in action against G-MAC opponents. Catanzarite produced a solid effort on the front line with three shots attempted as Cedarville posted a 2-2 verdict in the completion of a suspended game at Kentucky Wesleyan on Tuesday, Oct. 3. He fired in the third Yellow Jacket goal of the game in a 4-2 win over Trevecca on Homecoming Saturday,. Oct. 7.
