Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

The Germain Ford of Beavercreek Male Athlete of the Week (Nov. 5-11) is basketball player Jayvon Maughmer. The 6-foot-6 senior foward from Chillicothe, Ohio tossed in 21 points while grabbing seven rebounds to go with three assists in an 83-69 win over the Quincy Hawks on Friday, Nov. 10. Maughmer followed up with a 23-point performance including six rebounds and five assists as the Yellow Jackets fell 86-80 to the Truman State Bulldogs on Saturday, Nov. 11. The games were part of the 2023-24 Midwest Region Crossover hosted by Truman State in Kirksville, Missouri.
