The Germain Ford of Beavercreek Female Athlete of the Week (Dec. 10-16) is basketball player Lydia Sweeney. The 5-foot-8 senior guard from Grand Island, New York tallied a game-high 23 points in a G-MAC contest vs Tiffin University on Wednesday, Dec. 13 in the Callan Athletic Center. She followed up with a game-high 20 points in a non-league 77-58 win at Salem University on Saturday, Dec. 16 in Salem, West Virginia. She added a season-high eight rebounds to go with four assists and six steals in the victory.
