The Germain Ford of Beavercreek Male Athlete of the Week (Dec. 24-30) is basketball player Jayvon Maughmer. The 6-foot-6 senior guard from Chillicothe, Ohio fired in a career-high 33 points to lead the Yellow Jackets to a 83-78 G-MAC win at Lake Erie College on Saturday, Dec. 30 in Painesville, Ohio. Maughmer's outing included a 15-of-16 performance at the free throw line to go with six boards and three assists.
