The Germain Ford of Beavercreek Female Athlete of the Week (January 14-20) is track & field pole vaulter Haleigh Eckert. The senior from Mason, Ohio improved her NCAA Division II provisional qualifying mark to win the pole vault event at the Ashland Invitational on Saturday, Jan. 20. Eckert cleared 12-5.50 (3.80 meters) which ties for the ninth-best vault in program history.
