Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

The Germain Ford of Beavercreek Female Athlete of the Week (Feb. 18-24) is track & field distance runner Savannah Ackley. The junior from Hart, Michigan helped the Lady Jacket Distance Medley Relay team to a first place finish at the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Indoor Track & Field Championships on Fri.-Sat., Feb. 23-24 in Ashland, Ohio. Their winning time of 11:47.20 is the sixth-best in school history. Ackley was the runner-up in the 3,000 meters with a time of 9:57.96 as Cedarville placed fifth overall as a team in the 12-team championship event.
