The Germain Ford of Beavercreek Female Athlete of the Week (March 3-9) is track & field pole vaulter Haleigh Eckert. The senior from Mason, Ohio tied for 12th place in the pole vault at the NCAA Division II Women's Indoor Track & Field Championship. Eckert cleared 12-4.50 (3.77 meters) at the event held Fri.-Sat., March 8-9 in Pittsburg, Kansas. It was the second appearance at the NCAA Indoor for Eckert, who also qualified in 2022.
