The Germain Ford of Beavercreek Female Athlete of the Week (May 19-25) is track & field pole vaulter Haleigh Eckert. The senior from Mason, Ohio finished her record-breaking career by placing ninth in the pole vault at the NCAA Division II Track & Field Championship on Thursday, May 23 in Emporia, Kansas. She cleared 12-7.50 (3.85 meters) which is the seventh-best vault in school history. Eckert holds the top seven outdoor marks and nine of the top ten at Cedarville.
