Matt Schaeckenbach was voted the 2024-25 Yellow Jacket Club Male Athlete of the Year! The sophomore from Iowa City, Iowa repeated as G-MAC Indoor High Jump Champion and later won the G-MAC Outdoor title. Schaeckenbach was the NCCAA Indoor High Jump Champion and tied for 13th place in the high jump at the NCAA Division II Men's Outdoor Track & Field Championship.
