Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

The male SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (May 9-15) is track & field sprinter/hurdles specialist Justin Hoffman. The sophomore from Chillicothe, Ohio was part of the Yellow Jackets' 4 x 400 meter relay squad that erased the oldest outdoor school record in the books with a winning effort at the University of Louisville Classic in Louisville, Kentucky on Friday, May 14. The relay foursome took nearly three seconds (3:12.47) off the previous mark set in 1974. Hoffman added a solid performance in the 110 meter hurdles placing second with a 14.70 effort. The meet was non-scoring.
