Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

The male SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (Oct. 3-9) is cross country performer Evan Thayer. The junior from Naperville, Illinois had his best performance of the season at the Shawnee State Invitational on Friday, Oct. 8 in Portsmouth, Ohio. Thayer covered the 8,000 meter course in 25:37 to place fourth out of 127 competitors. The NAIA #22 Yellow Jackets finished runner-up to the NAIA #2 host Bears in the 12-team event.
