The male SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (March 6-12) is baseball performer Nate Davenport. The 6-foot-4 junior first baseman from Taylor Mill, Kentucky led the Yellow Jackets to a successful spring break trip in Clearwater, Florida as the squad returned home with a record of 8-3. Davenport completed a 3-for-5 day by hammering a two-run homer in the bottom of the 8th inning to account for a 9-8 win over Lock Haven on Monday, Mar. 7. He was 2-for-4 with an RBI in a 5-3 victory versus Upper Iowa on Friday, Mar. 11. Davenport closed out a big week with two hits, three RBI's and a run scored in an 8-2 decision against Lock Haven on Saturday, Mar. 12.
