Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

The female SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (Mar. 20-26) is track & field sprinter Alexa Winik. The junior from Windsor, Ontario was a winner in three events at the Yellow Jacket Collegiate Open on Saturday, March 26. Winik captured the 200 meter dash title with a 26.11 effort and followed up in the 400 meters with a 57.66 effort. She was part of the winning 4 x 400 meter relay squad that posted a time of 4:06.62. The Lady Jackets totaled 140 points to win the 13-team meet.
