The junior shortstop from Holland, Michigan helped lead the Yellow Jackets to a 4-1 week including taking 3-of-4 games from American Mideast Conference foe Notre Dame (Ohio). Beelen recorded at least two base hits in all five games and batted .600 for the week. His best performance was a 3-for-5 outing with a double, two runs and two RBI's in a 14-1 victory at Shawnee State on Tuesday, Mar. 29 in Portsmouth, Ohio.
