The female SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (Apr. 24-30) for the second consecutive time is softball player Jenn Spann. The freshman pitcher from Rapid City, Michigan tossed a complete-game shutout in a 1-0 win over Spring Arbor on Saturday, April 30 in Marion, Indiana. The victory gave CU their second NCCAA Midwest Region championship and put the Lady Jackets into the national tournament on May 12-14 in Botecourt County, Virginia.
