Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

The female SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (May 1-7) is track & field sprinter Alexa Winik. The junior from Windsor, Ontario, grabbed two individual victories and earned All-America honors in four events as the Lady Jackets placed third at the NCCAA Track & Field Championship. Winik sprinted to victory in the 400 meter dash in 55.57 seconds and followed up with a win in the 200 in 24.48. She was also part of the runner-up 4 x 100 and 4 x 400 relay squads. The event was hosted by Judson University and held in Joliet, Illinois on May 5-7.
