Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

The final female SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (May 22-28) for 2010-11 is track sprinter Alexa Winik. The junior from Windsor, Ontario, tied the school record in the 400 meter dash in an All-America performance for the second straight year at the 31st Annual NAIA Women’s Outdoor Track & Field Championship. Winik placed sixth in the final with a time of 55.30 seconds on the Indiana Wesleyan University track in Marion, Indiana. She also has the distinction as the final Yellow Jacket athlete to compete in an NAIA event.
