The junior forward from Cincinnati, Ohio led Cedarville to a pair of wins in the Dave Jones Memorial Classic on Sept. 9-10 at Yellow Jacket Field. On Friday night, Thurman had a goal and an assist in a 4-1 verdict over the Milligan College Buffaloes. He followed up with a goal against Olivet Nazarene University on Saturday as CU posted a 3-1 final. The outcomes marked the first time in the history of the six-year event that the Yellow Jackets won both matches at the tournament.
