Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

The male SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (Dec. 18-24) is soccer performer Steve Ellis. The junior defender from Irwin, Pennsylvania was recently named to the 2011 NCCAA Division I All-America First Team. Ellis started all 23 matches for the Yellow Jackets, contributed three assists and was in an integral part of a defensive unit that posted six shutouts. CU ended the 2011 campaign with a 14-6-3 record and a third place finish at the NCCAA National Tournament.
