For the second consecutive week the female SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (Dec. 25-31) is basketball player Kayla Jenerette. The sophomore guard from Greenville, South Carolina led the Lady Jackets in scoring in both games of the Rollins Classic in Winter Park, Florida. Jenerette poured in a game-high 29 points in a 68-57 setback to the host NCAA II #13-ranked Tars on Thursday, Dec. 29. She followed up with a game-high 20 points in a 74-71 loss to Florida Tech on Friday, Dec. 30. Jenerette, who was named to the all-tournament team, went 14-for-14 from the charity stripe in the two losses.
