The female SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (Jan. 1-7) is basketball performer Deborah Gordon. The 5-foot-11 freshman forward from Fort Lauderdale, Florida helped lead the Lady Jackets to a pair of road wins - a 74-53 win at Northwood in West Palm Beach, Florida on Tuesday, Jan. 3 and a 58-49 comeback victory at Malone in Canton, Ohio on Saturday, Jan. 7. Gordon produced a double-double of 14 points and 10 rebounds against Northwood. She followed up with a game-high 15 points and a team-high seven rebounds versus Malone.
