Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

The male SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (Jan. 4-10) is basketball player Daniel Rose. The 6-10 senior from Ocho Rios, Jamaica led the Yellow Jackets, ranked #5 in NAIA Division II, to a couple American Mideast Conference wins in the Callan Athletic Center. Rose came off the bench to score 15 points in an 87-65 victory versus Ohio Dominican on Tues., January 6. He added 13 points on Sat., January 10 as CU edged NAIA II #11 Walsh by a 70-66 score. Rose slammed home a field goal early in the contest to become the 46th Yellow Jacket to post 1,000 career points.
